# Can I try a lookup without connecting an agent?

Yes. Open https://www.neonjelly.io/playground. Pick a preset (store, product, playbooks). On-page Run is cached about 15 minutes and does not count against the 100/day trial. Copied curl with your key does meter.

## Modes

- API — `GET https://mcp.neonjelly.io/v1/…` with `Authorization: Bearer nj_`
- MCP — `tools/call` over `POST /mcp`

Paste `nj_` or `njc_` only if you want it in the curl snippet. Do not put the key in a query string.
